Hatha Callis has been guiding in the adventure tourism industry for over 10 years. He has guided years of remote river rafting expeditions on rivers such as the Tatshenshini, Firth and Babine throughout Northern BC and the Yukon. He has spent several summers guiding multi-day mountain biking trips in the Canyonlands of the Desert Southwest, throughout Wyoming, and Oregon. In the winter Hatha works locally as a Heli-Skiing Guide and Operations Manager at a heli-ski company here in Terrace, and has worked in the past guiding snow cat skiing and ski touring. He holds a diploma in Adventure Tourism Business Management. Skeena Valley Expeditions is built on Hatha's passion for the outdoors and his desire to share that passion with others.

Jupiter MacDonald, named after the Roman God, has spent the better part of his winters for nearly the past decade kayaking and raft guiding in far off and exotic locations such as India, Thailand, Nepal, Costa-Rica, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Australia, you name a place, chances are he's been there.

Here in BC he has worked on the Toby, Elaho, Squamish, Chekamus, Kicking-horse and others as well as remote expeditions throughout BC on the Tatshenshini, Babine, Turnagain and Chilko Rivers.

Jupiter started with Skeena Valley Expeditions before it even opened its doors.  He has been instrumental in building the busines from the ground up and oversees all the day to day operations from hiring guides to maintaining permits, from purchasing equipment and busses to creating rescue plans, and from running our staff trainings to developing new trips.  He is the iron fist in the company that keeps all the nuts and bolts running.

Jupiter is not only skilled at what he does but also quite possibly the most fun loving, and knowledgeable individual you have ever met.  Whether it is on a scenic float discussing far flung worldly customs and local First Nations traditions or descending some of the most thrilling whitewater rapids; we are confident you will have one of the best days of your life with him.
