Policy Information
Booking
- All guests must sign a liability waiver prior to participating in the trip.
- All paperwork except the waiver is required to be completed at the time of deposit for day trips and at the time of final payment for expeditions.
Day Trips
- For day trips a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance is required on the day of the trip prior to participation.
- For day trips, bookings must be made no later than 48 hours prior to the trip date. Bookings made within 48 hours of the trip date are possible only subject to availability.
Expedition Trips
- For expedition trips a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking
- The balance is required 60 days prior to the trip departure date.
Cancellations
- Skeena Valley Expeditions reserves the right to cancel or change any trip should natural or un-natural circumstances make the intended trip unsafe. In this case, a 100% refund will be given.
Day Trips
- A full refund is given for cancellations made greater than 7 days prior to the trip.
- Cancellations made 7-2 days prior to the trip date forfiet any deposit paid.
- No refund is given for cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the trip.
Expedition Trips
- A full refund less $200 (for administrative fees) is given for cancellations made greater than 60 days prior to the trip.
- A 50% refund is given for cancellations made greater than 30 days prior to the trip.
- No refund is given for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the trip.
Environmental
Skeena Valley Expeditions is committed to the preservation of wilderness habitats. Our trips are therefore designed to promote an understanding of this unique region‘s delicate ecosystems while preserving their natural integrity. We take a low-impact, self-contained, leave-no-traces approach, carrying in what we need and carrying out all garbage and human waste. After enjoying such incredible natural beauty, we want to know that we‘ve left the environment unspoiled for a future generation of explorers.
On Your Trip 
- No guests may participate in any rafting activity when under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Guests must realize they are in a remote wilderness environment with many inherent hazards including those presented by the river itself. They must respect the guides' instructions regarding clothing and equipment worn and appropriate actions taken while on the trip.
