Kalum and Copper Rivers - Class 3 +

We offer the experience of a lifetime on both the Kalum and the Copper Rivers, which are both world renowned for Steelhead fishing. Part of what gives these rivers their reputation is the spectacular setting, abundant wildlife, and beautiful water. They also just so happens to have some of the best stretches of whitewater in the region. Thse are full day trips and we take care of you right from the get go with all of the specialized clothing and equipment, transportation to and from the river, expert and certified guides, lunch, the works. SVE decides which river to go on based on current water levels and group desires. Both offer spectacular experiences.

Dates:

Every weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) June 5th, 2010 to September 19th, 2010 is a scheduled trip departure.
Weekdays are available any day you wish, we just need a minimum of 7 guests.

How to Book

Booking a trip with Skeena Valley Expeditions is easy. We don't do website bookings as we are still small enough to be able to talk with all our guests so we can make sure they get on the trip that is right for them and be sure they are prepared adequately for their trip.

Simply call our office toll free at (866) 918-RAFT or visit us at our new office location at the George Little house a minimum of 2 days in advance and we will get you all set up. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.

It is important, however, that you call us early. We can build much better trips with some advance notice so please call as soon as you know that you want to go rafting. Our absolute minimum pre-booking time is 2 days however most people book 1 to 2 weeks in advance to ensure there is a seat available for them. What to bring:

Bathing Suit
Thin, non-cotton shirt
Non-cotton fleece style jacket
Towel
Duffel bag to carry street cloths and shoes on the bus for after rafting
Your sense of adventure and desire to have fun!

Sample Itinerary:

0900 - Meet at the SVE Base; Check in, sign waivers, endure the orientation talk, get changed into wetsuits, booties and splash jackets.
1000 - Load into the bus and depart Terrace.
1045 - Arrive at the Kalum River put in; bring rafts to the river, get fitted with lifejackets and helmets, grab a paddle and head to the river. Listen to an in depth safety briefing, break into individual groups of up to 8 guests, and get in the rafts.
1200 - Begin Rafting!
1400 - Arrive at the take out, load the rafts, change back into street cloths if desired, and enjoy a full lunch.
1430 - Load back into the bus and drive back to the base.
1500- Back at the base and away for more adventures...
